Du Unveils Carrier-Neutral Transit and Content Hub Datamena
With the newly released carrier-neutral transit and content hub Datamena by UAE-based telco Du, Middle East-based carriers, content and service providers can interconnect to deliver a secure ecosystem of space, connectivity, infrastructure and expertise to customers.
Osman Sultan, chief executive officer at Du said in a statement, “As more people adopt digitally-enabled lifestyles, carriers and content and service providers look to optimize their data storage and connectivity capabilities to improve customer experience in the region. Du stated that it offers mobile and fixed telephony, broadband connectivity and IPTV (News
- Alert) services to individuals, homes and businesses and also provides carrier services for businesses and satellite up/downlink services for TV broadcasters.
Purported to act as growth catalyst for digital businesses located in the UAE and Gulf region, Datamena is specifically tweaked for those who looking for means to expand their global footprint. It also supposedly extends the country’s position as the region’s primary center for people, logistics, finance and trading, to the digital space.
