DN2K Unveils Real-time Big Data Service and Integration
Smart Devices and Global Broadband communications are redefining the operating habits of industry by offering new and innovative management options. Data is now available anywhere on the earth, and it can be accessed with the help of any type of device that connects to the network. This offers new opportunities for network providers and equipment manufacturers to connect with their customers. But with all these, there is also the need for real-time monitoring, management, and control of mission critical assets.
DN2K is a company that provides the above mentioned solutions. Recently, the company announced the its Big Data service integration. The DN2K DWorks technology allows customers to see numerous sensors, devices, and platforms in near real-time. it also connects them into a single view.
DN2K uses its Big Data Intelligence to sort gigabytes of data and shows only what the customer needs to know. This helps them to make real-time decisions. The remaining data is then stored by the system for future use and analysis, the company stated in a press release.
“Our service is Big Data in real-time and is all about finding a needle of value in a haystack of unstructured information. We are seeing massive growth in data harvesting, monitoring and analytics as companies want to improve their business visibility," commented Susan Lambert, president and COO of DN2K. "With the efforts of Apache Hadoop, Cloudera, DN2K, Google, IBM (News - Alert), Splunk and others, Big Data customers will have a true competitive advantage while improving efficiencies.”
Recently, TMC’s Jyothi Shanbhag reported that the company has introduced its new DWorks Solution Suite and even secured a new project from a local developer, Omni Energy.
