Inteliquent Offers Extended Reach to Customers

Inteliquent is offering extended reach to customers by expanding its global IP network into TELEHOUSE (News - Alert) New York Chelsea, located at 85 10th Avenue in New York.

Inteliquent, a provider of global interconnection and interoperability solutions, is a long-time and valued customer of TELEHOUSE, a provider of dedicated data centers, international Internet exchanges, and managed IT services.

“The addition of Inteliquent to our TELEHOUSE New York Chelsea data center represents TELEHOUSE's commitment to providing high quality, global connectivity and multiple redundancy options to Chelsea Center clients,” said Satoshi Adachi, vice president of TELEHOUSE America.

TELEHOUSE New York Chelsea provides more than 4mW of power and adheres to strict, robust global infrastructure standards for redundancy and diversity. This expansion will allow Inteliquent to offer a comprehensive suite of global connectivity solutions out of this facility.

The solutions include IP transit services utilizing both IPv4 and IPv6 routing, Ethernet Private Line (EPL) transport service, remote peering, and its newest Ethernet service, EtherCloud.

EtherCloud is a Layer 2 platform, which connects diverse partner networks into a holistic Ethernet cloud that delivers end-to-end Ethernet and VPLS connectivity around the world.

In other news, VoIP and Unified Communication specialist Broadvox (News - Alert) extended its HD voice capabilities recently by partnering with Inteliquent.

Broadvox is leveraging the power of Inteliquent's commercial HD Voice Interconnect solution to route high-definition calls to other service provider networks and to hosted voice application providers, thus expanding the number of endpoints that their customers can reach.
