PointClick Improves IP Transit with Giglinx

December 13, 2011

In a move that will add significant bandwidth and IP connectivity for its data center in North Carolina, PointClick Technologies recently decided to use Giglinx to improve its IP transit capabilities. As a hosting solutions provider, PointClick has leveraged Giglinx’s IP transit solutions for the last few years, and is now expanding its deal with the company to achieve higher rates of data transfer.

Malik Khan, CEO of PointClick Technologies, commented on the broadened partnership, “We have been extremely pleased with Giglinx for the last few years, as they have been extremely reliable as well as competitive in their pricing. They are truly one of our best partners at PointClick Technologies and have been an integral part of our continued growth.”

By signing on to receive additional bandwidth for its Raleigh, NC data center, PointClick will be able to improve its application load times and speed of its website for customers in addition to increasing its existing upstream providers to bolster its network uptime guarantee.

The broadened relationship between Giglinx and PointClick will also allow PointClick to host websites that have bandwidth-intensive applications while not having to worry about slow speeds on video streams and other multimedia applications.

Marcus Mamolen, president and CEO of Giglinx made a point of noting that Giglinx benefits from this expanded partnership too. “Giglinx is proud to join forces with PointClick Technologies, an industry leader of managed servers and cloud computing solutions. Having PointClick Technologies as a long term client based in Raleigh, NC helps our current sales push into the southeast region of the United States.”

“Having respected regional clients like PointClick Technologies helps us to continue to build credibility in the market place and will reinforce Giglinx’s position as the nation’s premier wholesale bandwidth and connectivity leader,” Mamolen added.
